Croatia's National Parks: Plitvice & Krka

We spent the last full week in May exploring Croatia and loved two of their national parks: Plitvice Lakes and Krka National Parks. Jaw-dropping waterfalls, bright blue-green water, wildlife, and plenty of easy hiking. We LOVED Croatia and highly recommend visiting this gorgeous country! It's an outdoor-lover's dream with so much to do.

A Sunny Weekend in Copenhagen

Visit Copenhagen, wander its beautiful streets, and sample their way above average food and beer. You'll be happy as a clam and so glad you decided to visit a country known for it's bike friendly streets and "cozy time" hygge.

Krakow: What to Eat and Where to Eat It

Eating out in Krakow is so affordable that you shouldn't have a problem trying all the amazing food! Paczki, pierogi, kielbasa, lody... Some of the best treats can be enjoyed on the go, which is excellent for travelers who may not have the time or desire to sit down to a full meal three times a day.

Lisbon

Portugal is such a lovely country - beautiful towns, friendly people, officially the best wine, and very convenient. In Lisbon, we focused on exploring outside, taking advantage of the sunshine, trying local flavors, and relaxing by the river front. The city also has museums and a highly rated botanical garden for chillier or rainier visits.

Fatima

2017 marks the 100th anniversary of the Marian apparitions in Fatima, Portugal and I'm so so thankful we were able to whip up a last-minute trip to the shrine while spending a weekend in Lisbon.
